About Connor
I am a highly experienced attorney admitted in New York and a military veteran, offering over 12 years of expertise in aviation financing and leasing. With a robust background working in both law firm and in-house roles, I have advised operating lessors, financiers, and borrowers on complex financing, leasing, and trading transactions. I consistently demonstrate strong leadership skills and an ability to execute time-sensitive projects, always focusing on practical, commercially-minded solutions that effectively manage risk, reduce legal spend, and prioritize the best interests of my clients.
My professional approach has earned recognition from colleagues, clients, and counterparties, who commend my professionalism, strong work ethic, and ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with diverse audiences.
I established my own solo practice after observing the market’s need for an experienced transactional lawyer who understands clients’ business objectives and achieves positive results, at cost-effective rates lower than those of large firms. I strive to leverage my expertise, efficiencies through technology, and low overhead costs to pass on significant savings to my clients.
My journey in aviation financing started at Milbank’s Transportation & Space Finance Group in New York. Under the mentorship of top industry lawyers, I honed my skills and gained invaluable experience working on large-scale and complex cross-border financing transactions. This experience instilled in me an unwavering passion for excellence and the drive to always deliver an exceptional customer experience.
In my roles as Senior Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at Jackson Square Aviation and Corporate Counsel at Willis Lease Finance Corporation, I obtained valuable knowledge into the commercial and technical aspects of aviation financing. I spearheaded numerous special projects to drive company growth and enhance the efficiency and quality of the legal team. Through my experience as in-house counsel, I gained a profound appreciation of the role collaboration plays in achieving win-win solutions, and that the ability to do so builds near-term trust and long-term success for all parties.
Furthermore, I am a proud U.S. Army Veteran. I completed a tour of duty in an area of combat during OIF 3, deployed to Manhattan for the rescue efforts in the aftermath of 9/11, and held a Top Secret clearance. My experience in the military instilled in me discipline, integrity, and an unflinching commitment to service.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I find joy in hobbies such as running, power lifting, hiking with my family and our 70-pound Bernadoodle, attempting DIY home improvement projects, and exploring my passion for cooking.
With a deep-rooted dedication to excellence, integrity, and a client-centric approach, I am committed to providing outstanding legal services that help propel the success of you and your organization.
